Polymer & Mikromunditos Project is an audiovisual performance project by Jan Barceló, Carles Tardío and Daniel Maalman.
The psychedelic dub music by Polymer is performed in combination with the live handmade visuals. All visuals are created on the spot by hand, the old fashioned way, without a computer, just camera's, a video-mixer and a projector. And a lot of interesting stuff. The messy way.

We recorded this material while performing on S.U.N. Festival in Hungary where we were invited to play in the Moon Temple (the chill-out). A seperate table with all the stuff we brought with us from Holland was mounted in the audience, so the dancing people could see how we were 'cooking' the visuals they could see projected on the screen next to them. Many people looked really surprised to see what was served on the screen and how this was prepared in the kitchen. Why? Because (some of) the stuff we brought with us to use in the show was:

Printouts, clay, plants & leaves, fruits, vegetables, twigs & sticks, sand, flowers (fake and real ones), a microscope, inks, nailpolish, pens, markers, paint, drawings, turntables, camera's with kaleidoscopes taped to the lens, salt, sugar, glue, food coloring, plastics, toys, figurines, photographs, a plasma ball, a lava lamp, organic tissue (in fragments for under the microscope, not a live chicken or something), led lights, blacklight, collages, magazine cutouts, glowsticks, oils, other liquids, fabrics from all sorts, and probably more stuff we are forgetting right now.
